“ Restaurant 3 km from Piccolomini Castle and 4 km from the stadium: a strategic location for those visiting for tourism or sporting events who don't want to eat downtown but are looking for quiet and substantial food. Ample parking is available. Generous portions, tasty dishes, and well-cooked, high-quality meat. Note that the arrosticini included in the grilled meatballs, a good size, were tender and cooked properly, not dry as can sometimes happen with mixed grilled arrosticini. The pasta sauce was generous. We ordered three plates of homemade fettuccine, two with wild boar ragù and one with saffron, mushrooms, and coppa, a large mixed grill, three tiramisus, water, half a liter of white wine, and three coffees. Total €100. Reasonable price for the quantity and quality. They issued a receipt without having to ask. Normal wait times, friendly and welcoming staff. Recommended. ”

We went for lunch; we didn't take any photos, but we tasted: antipasti of cured meats, cheeses, and mixed bruschetta (the tomato one is amazing ). We also tried the gnocchi with venison ragù for a first course, with homemade flavors. Then we ordered a generous portion of mixed grill, a heifer steak (absolutely tender), a sliced steak with arugula, cherry tomatoes, and parmesan, and a citrus-flavored chicken. All the dishes were generous and flavorful. For dessert: chocolate tart, berry cake, and a tiramisu made for Narcisia, incredibly delicious. The prices are good, considering the quantity and quality. A place to definitely return to. ”

“ We had lunch twice at Gigi's restaurant, and the dishes were fabulous. I highly recommend the tagliatelle with saffron and porcini mushrooms, made with truly homemade pasta. Every dish was masterfully prepared, and the service was excellent and prompt. I still recommend the venison dishes, the truffle ravioli, and the vegetable side dishes. The cuisine is traditional home cooking with flavors long forgotten. Bravo! ”
